Image
Recently we had a video shoot with Adam Peri from the Journal of Visual Experiment (JoVE)! We started writing our methods paper since Feb 2022, and it was recently published!! You can find out more about our published paper below!  Fabrication and Characterization of Layer-by-Layer Janus Base Nano-Matrix to Promote Cartilage Regeneration It was written by Maxwell Landolina*, Anne Yau*, Yupeng Chen based on the paper from Libo et al.  Controlled Self-Assembly of DNA-Mimicking Nanotubes to Form a Layer-by-Layer Scaffold for Homeostatic Tissue Constructs We then had a video shoot (and head shots - but not professional headshots lol) to show how we fabricate our LBL JBNm! Videos coming soon, but keep a look out!  I had to take picture of that "ACTION" plaque (I am sorry I don't know what it is really called, but correct me and I can change it up!)  Below is a picture of Max and I!

Happy New 2021

Image
Happy New Year everyone! It has been a crazy semester so far for all of us and Crazy Year for everyone on the planet! I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy while avoiding the positives!  We are currently on a semester break, and the lab meeting will resume next week! (Week of 1/4/2021).  While we have fewer updates, we are doing a lot of work despite the pandemic! (While social distancing of course!) So far, all of us had done at least one virtual conference, wrote a book chapter, and a review.  Also, did I forget, we ARE GOING TO SPACE! (This needs to be repeated n times!) More information here!   If you haven't already, please follow our Facebook page, it has been a blast and we have uploaded a few updates from relevant research from Science Daily .  Look forward to our more frequent update when things get back to new normal! We are still wearing masks and social distancing of course! But we hope to get a few pictures of getting together virtually soon! :)
